All accounts are owned by the association; there is no co-mingling of funds. All accounts are interest
bearing, including operating checking accounts,with tiered rates depending on account balances.
There is no minimum account balance required. Adding new accounts and initiating transfers between
accounts are accomplished easily, by telephone, facsimile,
e-mail, or through our website. The monthly
maintenance fee is charged to one account only, regardless of the number of accounts held by the association.
Since the operating (checking) account earns interest, the need to "sweep" this account is reduced. Interest
rates generally compare favorably with most other financial institutions.
