Prior to moving to Texas,
Christi Wells
might not be a native Texan, but as the local saying goes, she got here
as fast as she could! Coming from a strong customer service and business
owner background with previous employment, she applied those principles when
she started in the association industry in 1994 as a portfolio manager of
condominiums and single-family associations.
In 1997, Christi made the move to Chapter Executive Director for Dallas Ft.
Worth Chapter of Community Association Institute and continued in that capacity
prior to joining Community Association Banc in April 2004. She continues her
volunteerism with the four CAI chapters in Texas serving on education and
programming committees in DFW & Houston, serving on the board of directors
for the Greater Houston Chapter of CAI and consults with the Austin and
San Antonio Chapters for programs and networking events.
Christi obtained her CMCA designation and also promotes continuing education with managers and board members alike. As a frequent speaker and author within the CAI chapters, and by special request boards and professional managers, her business experience along with association management provides audiences expertise and insight for all involved in association matters. Educating association leaders in money management is a favorite topic within Christi’s repertoire.
She resides in Allen, Texas with her husband Jody. When she’s not traveling within the Great State of Texas, she enjoys vocal and piano performance; power boating with a good book, NASCAR and spending time with her extended family and friends. She’s active with her church participating in several choirs and ensembles, serving on the personnel committee and teaching 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders music.
