Under the First National Bank Holding Company, there are two banks,
First National Bank of Nevada and First Heritage Bank, N.A. (California). Community Association Banc
accounts can be maintained under each charter; virtually transparent to the account holder, while
providing FDIC insurance of up to $100,000 in each bank.
For associations maintaining balances in excess of $300,000, CABanc can place the deposits in the
Promontory Interfinancial Network CDARS program with up to $50 million in FDIC insurance. This reduces
the hassle of maintaining accounts in more than one bank, and transfers between accounts are expedited.
